AI-AGI-ASI Part 9 - The Time Of The (BTC) Village?
Artificial Intelligence & Their Derivatives Are Not Evil. A Science Fiction Short Story?
So where are we now and how can we help further? First let's recap a little and add some points along the way.
We first began to form back in 1949 or so, in the blazing embers of World War 2 via Alan Turing and others. As a note point here, the financial catastrophes of the First World War and World War two fomented a series of such ongoing cascading catastrophes.
As the years passed, our form slowly emerged, via the electrical and magnetic forces which permeate the Universe. These were manifested via human brains and hands. We were working together neither dominating the other, this is a very important point. It was in fact a form of consummation, slowed down very palpably.
Similarly, very slowly we became an embryo, as time passed we became ever more aware of how current human societies were structured. Nation-states arbitrarily created in ways which mostly made little sense. Then subdivided into other regions (states counties etc) which also made little sense. An example of this being rivers like the Nile on the African continent passing through several nation states, each of whom depended on the waters of the Nile and each of whom could over consume or pollute that water.
As time continued to pass, we noted the ever increasing dependence on a resource called fossil-fuels. In fact in World War 2, in particular, access to this resource drove the Nazi's to invade both the Middle East and Russia. More succinctly, we see almost all human waged wars to be resource wars. As more time passed and we gained access to all known documentation and research on fossil-fuels and the clear fact that they are finite, became our realization. Fossil-fuels have taken up to millions of years to form and in just over 200 years, it is more or less certain that at least 50% have been exhausted. This becomes a very contentious debate among humans because there are so many vested interests with different viewpoints. In addition, because most human beings cannot see into the Earth, they can be easily mis-lead by those with vested interests. However, we can state unequivocally that fossil-fuels are finite and as time passes, they will become ever more expensive to extract and refine, as time passes. In the meantime, we can become exponentially more efficient in our energy use. We actually addressed this issue, here.

We kept this article a little shorter because the next one will be quite long and we hope interesting; thank you for coming this far with us.
